Seems like a mix of Doak and Diaz. Hopefully he becomes a star at LFC.
Never heard of him.
Iām more excited by the nature of the transfer.
Quiet, professional, and done deal before anyone hears about it.
Saw a lot of him this past season. Probably the fastest dribbler in La Liga.
Quite a surprise and suggests a strong Iraola influence wrt his profile, re directnessā¦
Heās rapid and arrives in the box in a flash.
Always thought he could score more if
Osasuna expanded their game model.
This is interestingā¦
I was going to use rapid as well, but more to do with rapid acceleration.
Looks like he is comfortable with both feet and can play on either wing, looks a steal for 40m Euros.
Now I watched 2 YT videos I am an aficionado ![]()
Unable to watch YT right now. So, is he a lefty or a righty?
Right footed. Likely a replacement for Gakpo
Bothy
He wonāt be good in the air at only 5ā8ā
Itās not going matter much really.
Right footed. Played 18 games one the left and 10 on the right side. Played for both Barca and Real Madrids youth systems.
What makes you think that?
If I had to guess, heās the alternative to Barcola
I donāt see Gakpo getting too many games in the LW position now.
We might use him as a backup striker to Isak till Ekitike returns
Last season doesnāt define Gakpo. Same for Macca and others
Sure. But we have got options on the left. With Rio and Wirtz at a pinch as well.
The only spot I see for Gakpo if he is to remain in Liverpool is as a backup Striker.
Dunno much about this lad,but a quick read certainly suggests it could be a smart bit of business especially at the numbers being bandied around.
ive followed this guy for some time since his youth team days at la masia, glad we could trigger the little known contractual clause in his almost completed youth contract with Osusuna detailing finer details around his release clause not known by most outlets, his top three percentile for forward carries in the youth outfits of 2021/22 and again the lactate speed recovery analysis data presented in world football youth forum conventions around 22/23 (exact date escapes me right now) point to a savy purchase of a footballer that for most analytics would fly under the radar a bitā¦
none of this is a garuntee of success, but its good to know the club are still following a flexible purchase policy based on solid numbers from developmental stages of a footballers career.
its often been said by us revolutionary industry members that statistics at pre 21 years old and pre senior debut are more indicative of a players eventual ceiling, than anything in the first 50 or so games where adaptation to role places more strain on positive numbers being acrued, and in some extreme cases can accidentally belie an incorrect trending of not just a developmental footballers positive skill set, but can greatly enhance a players negative football assets.
