Virgil VAN DIJK: 2022/23

Don’t care about the FA Cup.

We should be able to cope for one or two League games.

18 days until Chelsea. Wouldn’t surprise me if he will be back by then.

Brighton away could be a banana-skin too … :scream:

This whole season is a banana skin.

Wonderful.

We will really need to pull out a little 20/21 end of the season.

We need to pull out a 2021-22 end of the season.

Maybe we should blame @Flobs for the poor performances this season… well he did say not long ago he takes more bananas home from work than he knows what to do with… Maybe he lashing the skins everywhere eh :0)

Alisson up front :+1:

He’d been better recently. Never seen him as slow as when chasing Mbuemo before the first goal. Must have been carrying the injury

Maybe a blessing.
He doesn’t get a free pass based on prior performances.
He’s been fucking awful of late and the rest may do him good.

I gave the last bananas to some hungry Brazilians only to find a bunch more the next day. They are never ending these bananas (it’s the all year round fruit).

Yes they are a good footballing team

Klopp said on Monday that it is minor and I’m thinking ‘ok he might return for Chelsea or Wolves on Feb 2nd’

Nothing official so far and we should wait and see what Klopp will say tomorrow.

If Joyce is right bad enough but I wonder how the fuck is a leak like this even possible. Surely not in the interest of the club.

Said a few weeks, I’d say maybe CL.

He didn’t feel a lot?

A gush of wind is all it takes to keep half this squad out for months.

Wouldn’t surprise me if he’s back for Chelsea.

If he misses Wolves in the league too also not the end of the world.

What’s with the 9 day break before the derby?

Derby is on Monday so it’s just 7 days really.

NEW: Virgil van Dijk is expected to be fit by mid-February. #lfc [james pearce - the athletic]

So Newcastle…

So Wolves and Everton.
