Left his team mates out in the cold on several occasions against Forest. Not what you expect from a leader of the back line and captain. He only seems capable of thinking about himself at times.

Anyone know the background here for why Virgil is so salty? I assume its something to do with calls for him retire or doing the Dutch thing of putting all the blame for their team’s failures on their best player.
I noticed one of the comments from a (presumably) Dutch person says that the guy Virg is speaking to is known as the biggest piece of shit in their media, so could be it’s not a single thing but something that’s been bubbling away a long time.
