Yeah, I am leaning towards it being correct. But I have no video verification so cannot say. It would be odd to lie about in an official communication though, which is why I am leaning towards it being correct.
These things cannot ever be hidden, so always the facts will appear (another reason why I find it odd to lie about). But of course, Russia lies about these things weekly, so who knows. I just find it to be stupid, because credibility is also important.
This will so damage our economies. Gas prices up 50% (natural gas) today. Problematically, these sorts of retaliatory strikes can bring in unwilling combatants because it becomes too expensive to stay out.
All of this is so bad (the dynamics that makes other states enter the war, not just oil and gas prices, which I am sure people will agree is less important in itself than human lives). This war has a predictable and fucking nasty, domino effect. Sadly, since it is Plan 9 From Outer Space, this is not planned for by US admin who are gambling like Putin (but at least for Russia, invading Ukraine was a bit more important strategically, so less “insane” than this, despite of course far worse in terms of invading unprovoked).

I also wrote about it on this forum that the US will have so few interceptors left that China can just basically invade Taiwan almost uncontested by US air defence, if this drags on. Because there is not going to be many interceptors (which Ukraine needs, I remind you all) left in the world.
