That’s when it’s going to be ww3
I will know jackshit about European politics. But I know how Asian politics run
Certainly in no way defending Orban here, nor that I would trust his words, I hope that’s clear, so don’t take this the wrong way, just trying to gather facts atm.
If this from the same speech (?) then he apparently also said this:
“We have no military force for this, I can reassure everyone that this is not part of our plans. But we have political and financial tools,” he said, without elaborating.

There is a retired Canadian general advocating for Canada’s development of a nuclear weapons capacity. We have most of it already, with the knowledge base dating back to the 1950s. The parallel development of delivery mechanisms is a delicate part of the conversation, particularly regarding the required range.
I apply Hanlon’s Razor to US conduct and PL referees equally.
Didn’t intel used to stand for “intelligence”?
Is the irony of this war nuclear proliferation? Canada, Japan, Nordic countries… it is the literately the “Wild-West”, where the equaliser is king…
As a civilisation we have to move past this and become more woke.
I point to what George Carlin had to say about ‘military intelligence’
And the person you’re replying to included in that group I presume?
I agree. I posted imediately after having read it and you must note that I previously have posted the leaked Orban-government invasion plans of Ukraine (they planned to take the areas in Ukraine where ethnic Hungarians live, in a Molotov-Ribbentropp like deal, but that went awry when Ru forces were kicked out of Kyiv).
So there is background for this and a lot of it. Hungary has been training for an invasion of Ukraine (which I have posted previously). But that doesn’t mean that they will invade now and I have no intel that says that their are accumulating forces at current.
This may be just a political bluff, but no one should not take it seriously. His words to the Hungarians are very clear and stark and he repeated by force too many times.
But sure, it may just be pressure, but Ukraine cannot plan for that, mate. If they have to readjust their Order of Battle agains the Russians, this means that the Russians can achieve strategic Breakthroughs (remember, UA has critical lack of manpower already). It’s connected. So this is extremely dangerous even if he does not invade.
Reports have Qataris using PAC-2s made over 20 years ago (identified by wreckage), which strongly suggests there is some truth to the narrative that stocks are running low. They ain’t dairy products, but they do have a rated storage lifetime of about 15 years.
One wonders if it is possible to have planned a war that poorly, or perhaps there was not much of a plan at all
Global number of PAC missiles are known. I have posted it above here, using expert sources. Shortage is real, which I have been saying for 3 years now, using a variety of expert sources in the Ru Invasion thread.
I think you may find interesting information on this account, as an example:

(but you would likely have to scroll a bit)
Amongst others, yes.
Apparently that pre-dates even him.
Groucho Marx had a piece, so yes, even in formal comedy it is quite a bit older. Carlin’s delivery was more to my tastes.
Notably, shortage of PAC-interceptors is no issue in this current conflict. It is an issue for Ukraine, not for ME states and the US. It is an issue for the US is China invades Taiwan, that is the point. US has more than enough in theatre to deal with Iranian ballistic missiles, which are rare now anway.
I am increasingly coming to the opinion that Hegseth’s Pentagon misread Iranian restraint last summer as incapacity, and have simply failed to prepare for the conflict they themselves initiated.
They seem to be using them at a startling rate against drones, which shifts the calculus somewhat.
Yes, it is obvious. Plan 9 From Outer Space does not plan for a single swan, it plans for everything going swimmingly perfect ![]()
This war is a factor, but I would say the bigger factor toward nuclear proliferation is America proving itself to be an unreliable ally, or no ally at all.
They did but not to the degree that MSM reports (MSM conflates PAC with other GBAD).
The strategy of delivering air defence to UA was always insane, case in point. The Alabuga plant needed destruction years ago, not now.
