Fire related to this post?
@mods , can the middle East thread and this be combined together.
Asking because there are multiple threads discussing events which might be inter related.
For example, Pakistan bombing an Afghan hospital
" The head of the United States’ National Counterterrorism Center, Joseph Kent, has resigned over the US-Israel war in Iran.
He said in a letter to president Donald Trump posted on X that “Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation”."
The fire in the laundry is completely plausible. Back in 2008, George Washington was in repairs for 3 months ($78M!) from a crew member throwing a single cigarette down a vent shaft. Ford was already facing ventilation and plumbing problems, not at all surprising that an incident like this would happen.
Damn. Such a cheap inside agent job to take out a billion dollar carrier.

Pakistan and Afganistan aren’t a part of the Middle East. I think it’s better to keep these threads as they are.
Could be something as simple as a demoralized laundry crew saying ‘fuck it’ and not cleaning out the lint screen.
I think for a lot of these dinosaurs, they don’t want their legacy to be a fall out with a long-standing, powerful ally.
They are hesitant to disrupt the status quo, but they need to realize the future does not belong to this version of the US.
I can hear Donalds response to this…
“Its fake news, from a terrible newspaper thats failing”
I started this thread precisely because it was spilling over across several other threads.
There are more appropriate places to post about Pakistan / Afghanistan.
Don’t bother, that person can’t even keep thoughts in their head long enough to make a single post rather than spamming several posts in a single thread.
Damned unreliable European warmongers, not mongering a war when Trump wants it mongered.
Well the last war mongering arsehole we had was Blair, sits on Trumps self styled board of peace…says it all.
Yes, Yes. Between the Kurds, the Druze, the Alawites, and not to mention a closet-ISIS in charge, Syria don’t have much troubles at their hands already.
