War in Iran : Trump's latest misadventure

Would it change anything if they entered the war? What can they offer that isn’t dwarfed by the US’s/Israel’s capabilities?

It will be strange seeing Arabs and Israelis on the same side of any conflict.

It could actually change more than most people think. They border Iran, so if they entered, they would be able to undertake minor invasions and establish buffer sones. Logistics is completely different when you border someone. They could then also open up their own bases to serve as logistics hubs for the United States. I doubt any of them would like to invade though.

The real reason the US is unable to solve this war fast, is primarily after all, that it is Iran and not Mexico it is fighting, and so they cannot invade without a massive time-consuming and super expensive logistical build up.

I don’t know how much it would change, it depends on politics and calculations the Gulf States and Saudi Arabia would make. But it could. Bordering a country you are at war with expands options (and risks) rather drastically.

This is such a shit show, it’s getting so bad I half expect Trump to release more Epstein files to deflect from this war !

Seems GBAD is running low on ammo indeed. During the 12 Day’s War, which was far more destructive, Iran launched way more ballistic missiles at Israel, almost all were shot down and the sky was full of interceptor fire. Now Iran only fires a very few at Israel, not even every single day. So far, I believe 3-4 have hit. Still negligeble compared to damage during the 12 Day’s War, but 2 slipped through GBAD just today despite Iran not firing large volleys.

Think his latest misadventure may have been his disgraceful reaction to Mueller’s death.Seems to have gone down like a lead balloon in many areas, particularly the Republican Party.

I mean, unless it directly fuels the war efforts, it is a war crime. And proportional to the negative effects it has on civilians (or at least tit for tat), it clearly is not and so is a war crime.

This is moving the war into Russo-Ukrainian territory and so potentially much more ugly. Ukraine long ago began retaliating and hitting Russian energy in border oblasts, but it is a miniscule campaign compared to the Russian it is in response to of course. Ukraine’s electrical grid is practically destroyed. Today was actually one of the few days since months where there was no power breakdown.

Saudi Arabia has shown remarkable patience so far. Any strike on the desalination plants will lead to a regional war à one where Iran will have no backers.

Israel set the precedent when they hit those depots in Iran. Clearly they believe that because they were able to flout international law in Gaza they now have a free hand to do the same in Iran and Lebanon and wherever else the fuck they like basically.

Quite apart from allowing himself to be dragged into this whole misadventure in the first place by his bosom buddy in Tel Aviv ,his willingness now to adopt the same illegal tactics should guarantee a similar referral to the ICJ. Congratulations Donny you’re about to join your heroes Vlad and Bibi as an indicted war criminal.

This is getting more and more out of hand and there is no one to reign in the orange idiot or his war criminal buddy.

No , all three of them will still be safe from imprisonment.

Certainly no one with the balls to lay into him, sadly.

Trump won’t be as his ego will insist he is beyond the powers of the UN to get him so will travel as he wants.

The minute he sets foot in EU, Japan, most parts of entral and South America then he can be arrested should the country have signed up to the ICC which most countries have.

oh you naive soul.
