Maybe, maybe not. But I don’t see what they would risk with special forces and for which purpose. If there is a target, why not kill it ? Capture is super complicated. The nuclear mission also seem to call for the capabilities of the US and not the lesser capabilities of Israel, I suspect.

Impressive in very many ways. They landed several transport planes and helos right in front of the Iranians, who might never again get the chance to cause a mass casualty event of US forces like they had here. It clearly of course shows their military weakness.

I share these thoughts. Material losses of aircraft should not be focused on a lot, because this particular operation was a smashing success that probably will incentivise Trump to get more daring in terms of deploying infantry inside Iran and maybe capture and hold ground.

(US has a massive surplus of these aircrafts, losing a few means very little, the military technical issue the US has is lack of munitions, not aircrafts and platforms). But the US is really, really hard pressed when it comes to advanced munitions.
