Good one this. Not the finished article yet but still am immediate injection of quality. Seems to have a degree of flexibility which we like and I like the fact he’s a big strapping lad with a clear physical element to his game. Really felt like we were missing some of that at times last season.
He’s also got an absolute weapon of a right foot and scoring from outside the box seems to have been something we’ve struggled with. Gives us that other threat when teams sit deep.
Giving him the 8 shirt is a real sign of confidence and him and Mac Allister is a serious upgrade on Ox and Keita. Think that could well be it for the midfield this summer unless there’s an outgoing or there’s a serious deal to be had towards the end of the window.
Welcome Szoboslai, I hope you do well in your career here and be more available than the last player to wear that shirt!
