Welcome to Liverpool Dominik Szoboszlai

This :+1:

Now the opponents have to deal with two quality and tricky players on the right side.

Let’s not forget Diaz on the left. He’s none too shabby either.

You’ve chosen the shirt number eight, obviously a famous number at Liverpool. What is the reason behind that?

Not a special reason but of course it’s a great number, a lot of great players had this number. And also I have a tattoo from Steven Gerrard, what he said – I don’t even remember when but before. It was also a reason why.

Does he even know what he got tattooed?

:joy:

Is he someone you’ve looked up to previously? You’ll know him from playing at Liverpool…

When I was a child, to be honest I didn’t watch that much football but of course when it was Champions League or a big game, I was watching Liverpool, the big teams and also the big players – and he was one of the biggest.

No, official site, he’d know Steven Gerrard from playing for LA Galaxy…

Great signing. Probably the best realistically available for his position.

What are the odds the poor sod in the gift shop gets the spelling of this guys name wrong on the first half a dozen shirts he has to press out :0)
They could become collectors items in a few years if Dom becomes an icon

I’m sure others have also noted this…
but Jorg seems to be going about our/his business in a quiet but effective way eh :+1:

I feel like this is the type of signing that won’t just lift the fans but the rest of the squad as well, everyone loves to see genuine quality being brought in.

Considering this thread has his name spelled wrong, I’d say the odds are pretty short

To any songs, if it doesn’t include the Scouse So Boss La, shame on you.

I’m quite excited by this lad, he looks like he’s already up there among the best, he’s still getting better at 22, and previous managers have mentioned his work ethic and drive to improve.

What a signing.

This is fucking sexy.

He’s a player who for a few years people have pointed at to say “he’d be perfect at Liverpool” yet there were just no credible links. When they started emerging a couple of days ago I rubbished them, but only because it just didn’t believe we’d spend the amount of money necessary to sign him given what sort of player he is and what the conventional wisdom was for what we needed to address this summer. I had no question about his talent, but more about whether he was a good match for our priorities, and how unlikely it seemed that we’d spend this on something that wasnt a priority. Now it’s done Im over the moon.

I genuinely have no idea what out shape or personnel will be against Chelsea, and I’m totally down with just leaving it at that and happily waiting until I see it play it, with high confidence they’re going to figure it out and play a sexy brand of football while doing it

This is now me waiting until the Chelsea game

I hope he’s good!

Really though MH? He doesn’t seem all that good looking to me, but I am a very bad judge of male attractiveness as nothing compares to what I see in the mirror every morning.

To be fair I think Thiago is our best looking player especially when he grows his hair.

Obviously I have higher standards due to the mirror thing

In some pics he reminds me of a young Gyp Rosetti
