I barely spoke to him, just left him and the 3rd player to it
It was really good travelling with my son he’s so calm. Then meeting up with my Brother and Sister. Seing my Dad who was so happy that we had made the trip.
Normally I wouldn’t travel in such a rushed way. It was just that with my son it wasn’t possible any other way.

On vacation. Villa rental in FL. Backs on to a wild life preserve with a golf course beyond. Sitting here, pool side, pitch black. We have seen loads of critters - bald eagles the highlight. So many birds, everything.
Anyway, a pack of coyotes are on the prowl. The howls and communications between them are visceral. Very close indeed. Lights completely out. Silent. Listening to nature doing its thing. Goose bumps as they get excited about something. Probably a rabbit (I hope not a cat).
Cuban cigar going. A little bourbon This transcends work, daily life and all its worries. Pitch black, just listening to what they are doing. It’s incredible that this happens in suburbia.

We all need to stay positive, I know it is hard due to the current geo-political climate. Otherwise, what is the point of us here, we have to encourage the younger generation to stay active and politically aware of what is happening.
They are our only hope.

sitting having a beer after a busy day…
new bed got delivered today and i built it.
my 3 year old broke the last bed,
he was jumping on the bed singing 5 littles jumping on the bed,
1 fell off and banged his head,
when a monkey fell of the bed he would launch himself at the cushioned headboard,
on the 4th monkey he threw himself at the headboard and I heard a crack,
he’d broken the fitting at the bottom of the headboard where it connects the frame, it was unrepairable.
its coming out of his pocket money…

Here in Germany, there are a great many people who claim to be supporters of two clubs. They claim they can support two clubs because the clubs in question play in different leagues. For example, in my home town of Bad Oeynhausen, a spa town, I met a spa guest from Münster who claims to be a supporter of Preußen Münster (third tier) and Werder Bremen (Bundesliga). Bad Oeynhausen lies within Arminia Bielefeld’s catchment area, and unfortunately there are a great many people for whom Arminia is merely their ‘second club’. Many say they’re fans of Arminia and, in the Bundesliga, of Bayern, Werder or BVB, and so on and so forth.
