What's happening?

I am shielded from your barbs

I am on my back from the cemetery. I see other friends and family buried there further inside. I was saddened to see and all these years i never knew. I passed a grave with the name Joseph, Danial MaCarthy. I saw the Liverpool flags on his grave, he was one of the 97 supporters at Hillsborough disaster. I stood there shocked he looked so young in his picture. I said a little prayer for him. Rest in peace Joseph, Ameen/Amenā€‹:palms_up_together::pray:

On a much lighter note.

@PeachesEnRegalia , I have a problem which would require your expertise.

Iā€™m having to shave my head every two days because I want to maintain the slot look.

How often do you shave your head ?
@SBYM

And to clarify , I want to have a full shaved look out of choice.

I donā€™t shave mine at all. I run the clippers over it with no guard every few weeks or so.

Need to shave my head every two three days. Iā€™m used to it. But my hair growth is that much.

Do it because Iā€™ve got that curly hair. And then the obligatory white hair which comes along on the sides.

Are we talking about ballsacks?

Legit forgot I posted about ballsacks last night.

I was way drunk.

Iā€™m attending a life/spiritual coaching retreat in Basel, Switzerland.

For the past two days I was taking a rather expensive taxi trip back to my Airbnb in a little village in France called Buschwiller each night.

On the third night, I decided to take two buses and then walk what seemed like a pretty straightforward 35 minutes back to my apartment.

That 35 minutes ended up being a walk down a completely dark narrow street, followed by a left turn into what looked like a farmhouse compound and then a clamber over a gate that is exactly like the gates that stop traffic from going through railway junctions. I donā€™t know why the gate was closed but clambering over was the only option.

And then I crossed over a motorway with cars travelling at over 50 km an hour each directionā€¦

And then the clincher.

The next leg of the journeyā€¦I literally walked into the woods. It was 4Ā°C but I was sweating buckets thinking that there may be wolves around.

It was like I walking into one of the stories by The Brothers Grimm!

I walked through that wooded muddy pathway and then I took a right indicated on Google Maps.

It was literally a muddy pasture with zero road markings and complete, pitch-black darkness. Thank goodness for phone torches! The only indication of even the semblance of road was the fact that there were some tractor tracks going down that path. I walked through this quagmire for 15 minutes and then I came to a bit of paved road that was indicated only for farm vehicles. After travelling down that road I finally found civilisation, ergo the village where I had been staying.

Funnily enough, I had a strong 5G signal throughout this unintended adventure. Otherwise Iā€™d have been completely lost!

Suffice to say I will be taking the taxi back tonight.

At least the mobile phone and internet is good for events like this. Yes. Taxi is better or Uber maybe.

Itā€™s Mardi Gras in Sydney, which is the big Gay parade and party. Lots of young people out and about in fancy dress.
I wish them well, but Iā€™m full of dread after recent events in the US.

Starting of Ramzan means the first obligatory episode of the haleem in Hyderabad

This time it was mehfil , bit too much of pepper for my liking and slightly less meat quotient.

Always nice going night fishing up Welsh moorland lakes having been scared shitless as a child by American werewolf in London.

Do not wander off the pathā€¦

In Bangalore right now. Eagerly waiting to be back home to enjoy some haleem. Good thing with the delay is that friends would have already tried many places and give their feedback.
That sais I generally have once at Bombay hotel in Ranigunj.

Ok, sitting on the balcony of a guesthouse in South West Rocks in NSW drinking a glass of wine with the missus. Wind is raging, sea is churning and all is well with the world. Fingers crossed for all those north of here. Weā€™re still 24 hours from landfall and itā€™s stormy like mad here, 400 km from the epicentre. I hope everyone stays safe.
On the other hand, itā€™s magnificent to experience the awe inspiring power of nature.

Iā€™ve always felt as though one of my favourite experiences was to weather a storm in a nice, safe house.
