Ratboy already stirring up the pot with his comments after the game yesterday and I seem to remember him being only slightly less than incendiary the last time it happened. Fuck all chance they do it against someone like Fulham but us vs them is a worldwide event and I truly suspect some kind of disruption will be attempted.

Klopp to get a hat trick?

mourinho, ole and ten hag?

It was only a month ago they beat us 4-0 in preseason and their supporters were all giddy.

Funny how that turned out.

I can see them next game all behind the ball and hoping they can pinch a goal on the counter attack. We need to get Nunez on that Dwarf from the start.

Imagine being them

ā€œOur owners are terrible all they have spent in the last decade is 1.5 billion! no ambition and no clue! get em out! It is not the players fault they canā€™t kick a football competentlyā€¦ the owners not employing the right kit man is to blame!ā€

Wasnā€™t the main problem that last time that supporters made it into the stadium prior to the match when we were still under COVID restrictions so the main issue was exposure to the players? Maybe Iā€™m wrong on that but I would think itā€™s a different situation now and that fans wouldnā€™t be able to heavily influence whether the match is played or not.

Also, why walk out for the biggest match of the season? I get it about the worldwide audience, but this is the sort of match thousands of fans have travelled thousands of Kms for and spent thousands of Ā£ on to see their team. Most probably arenā€™t as heavily invested in removing the owners so id expect still a lot of supporters to watch the match regardless of a mass walkout. I donā€™t see a Valencia style walkout like the image further up.

Iā€™m not kidding when I say we should still be cautious. Forget the wounded animal analogy, them putting in a performance against us when they clearly donā€™t give a shit at any other time of the season would be exactly what Iā€™d expect. Clearly we are a mile ahead of them in ability, but as we saw against Fulham, if we arenā€™t too bothered about utilising our ability then anything can happen.

No question, them beating us 2-0 would be exactly the kind of result that football throws up.

Watching MOTD again, their second is utterly appalling.

All jokes aside, if they carry on like this, they really will fall off a cliff. Their huge revenue is essential to pay the massive bills. They keep losing. theyā€™re utterly fucked long term.

Shame.

Erik Ten Hag thought that if he has Pep Guardiolaā€™s hair style and Jurgen Kloppā€™s beard style, it would help be a success in the premier league. :grinning::grinning::grinning:

Great question. Youā€™d have thought that last 10 years of nothing significant would have already resulted in clear signs showing that the financial juggernaut of United is going down, but that has not been the case as much as it should be I believe. They still make a shit ton of revenue, and boast one of the highest fan bases.

I think the situation at United has gotten so twisted that its become more like ā€œeven bad publicity is still publicityā€. Their fans boast that 62% of all football related tweets on Twitter are about Manchester United, thats how big their club it. In reality, a large portion of those tweets are probably rival fans laughing and taking the piss out of United. But you can easily imagine the commercial units at that club proudly displaying such stats to potential sponsors to try and get huge deals that the club has not deserved based on its performance for the last 10 years. But thats executive heads for you. All you have to do is show them one curve thats on upward trajectory, and theyā€™ll gobble it up and throw money at it.

This is also why United are so persistent with tying themselves up with big commercially valued brands like Ronaldo, and even Rashford to some extent. Why they keep chasing big name superstars like Sancho and De Jong even though it takes so much time to get those moves done that the manager is probably left somewhat handicapped.

No wonder that both Mourinho and Van Gaal had massive digs at the clubs style of operation after they left. The bubble could burst, but it almost looks like people at United simply donā€™t care. Even when their club keeps losing, they keep creating ā€œcontentā€ videos, and keep their marketing machine churning out stuff. Its truly not a football club anymore. Just entertainment business.

And who can blame them? Yesterday I spent 2-3 hours injecting myself with all United related ā€œoutrageā€. With ā€œcustomersā€ like me, these guys have no shortage to how well their business model works.
