When the shit hits the fan, and they've got the wrong man, that's Amorim!

That’s the first and most important thing indeed, to focus on the game at hand. But even if it goes well, we’ll then face an utterly wounded animal. That is always dangerous, especially if overconfidence plays a role.

But let’s focus on CP first. It will already be difficult enough to get the three points in that game.

I finally saw the Brentford goals (mwhahahaha…), and honestly, I think that De Gea did it on purpose for the two first goals. He had no concussion, and is a really experienced and talented keeper. You just don’t do this kind of thing as a professional top athlete. There is something foul in there. After the 2-0, you could see how the confidence was teared in shreds among the squad, which points to a lot of internal problems. Brentford just walked on and scored two other good goals, credit to them.

Agree Palace will be a tough game. We’re gonna smash United though. Wounded animal? We’ll be feasting on their corpse. We just need to swamp them from the first minute. Like pride of lions taking out a baby impala. Knock any fight out of them in the first few minutes

I actually said that to a girl one day. She was chatting me up in Claridges Bar; when I said that she couldn’t afford me, she laughed and replied “Aren’t I supposed to say that to you?” My response was “Yes, but I’m more beautiful than you.”

We ended up going out together for over two years.

If there’s even a hint of protests that leads to the game being cancelled again, award us 3 points and them 0.

Let’s see if they do it again.

What is it for forfeiting a match, 3-0 loss I think?

That’s probably their best hope of keeping things respectable :joy:

Pride comes before a fall, considering how utterly dog shit we were against Fulham, I’d be waiting till at least after tonights game to be a little bit confident…

Anything other than Politics, and it would be lovely.

I think it might have had something to do with the fact they were getting 25 penalties a year until Klopp had a good moan about it in the media and ultimately ruined Ole’s only tactic.

So if ManU fail to score against LFC next week, they would have an OG as goal of the month for August.

I want to stick the boot in on them as much as the next good Liverpool fan. But first, Crystal Palace. That’s all I’m thinking about today. They lost to Arsenal on the opening day and didn’t quite look ready. But what we do know is they have a few players to be a pain in the arse to us on the break, if we aren’t careful. Fast, strong, athletic. And since nobody fancies Crystal Palace to do anything against us, it’s almost a free shot for them.

Beat Palace and then let’s enjoy the build up to the Man Utd game. Even then I would be slightly wary - against all the current evidence - as at some point they have to start doing better.

Do they have to though? Brentford’s press is good but ours is better. They panic easily and I can’t see that changing in one week

I genuinely see us liquidating that football club next week.

We’re gonna be the reason Utd fans trash up their Stadium, owners going to have to fork out hundreds of millions. Players will get abused by their own fans to the point where they refuse to carry on playing & thus FA handing them automatic forfeit of the league.

As much as im enjoying them suffer on the pitch and in the stands there is part of me that does think as a collective all fans really should support them in getting rid of the Glazers.

We complain about the oligarchs and oil states becoming owners so we really should also be united against leveraged buyouts and clubs being in the hands of owners that don’t have the clubs interests at heart.

Any other club in that situation, I think there would be a lot more support for their fight against the owners. Because it’s them, well a lot of us are revelling in their misfortune. But as we’ve seen ourselves, you’re one billionaires business deal away from your club falling into some pretty shitty ownership where we as fans have very little influence in pushing back or driving a change.

I hope they get organised and have old trafford empty for the game next week.

They had a lot of possession against Brentford. Against us they may simply try to sit back and play a more defensive game.

Fingers crossed the Glazers ignore them and continue to take United along the correct path.

Nah, I’m loving it. And hopefully the billionaires at Chelsea and City end up with their bubbles burst also
