Even with Onana coming to his rescue, that’s surely going to result in some time off and some kind of education programme? Wonder how Rashford feels about it, having been on the receiving end with a lot of social media abuse with emoji’'s like that being used. Or doesn’t it matter when its your pals??!!

They played more games than almost anyone last season, I think. They got to two cup finals and went to I think the Semis in the EL? Not surprised at this, tbh.
While I’d conveniently forgotten all that did it translate to more TV appearances? I mean more games doesn’t exactly translate to a massive increase in income without a heap of other stuff behind it.
Shit thing for me on this is it just adds some validity to City’s numbers in a backward kind of way.

City have been clearly better for a decade, won a treble last season and still took in less money (not counting oil donations).
United are a global brand with a huge generation fanbase. City are fucking shithouses.

The Garnacho stuff makes me think two things:
Are some things more acceptable in parts of South America than in Europe, and while the person might not be racist, to European tastes it comes across like that?
The second thing I think about is Luis Suarez. We’ve had several footballers caught up in racist ‘miscommunication’ (I’m summarizing a larger discussion) but our man was the one who was made an example of and punished most severely.
I think that was largely due to Alex Ferguson taking control of the narrative from the outset, and from that point on it felt like the die was cast.
