Kick them when they are down, in good fun. There has been a lot to laugh at as they have been atrocious for so long.
And now, temporarily at least, the shoe is on the other foot. We have started the season slowly and have a few problems to sort out, while they just beat us and looked like a half decent team.
Can’t stand them, but they are allowed their moment in the sun to gloat. Bless them.

Neither do I, I thought they were crap.
Yes they pressed well for a bit with the crowd behind them but they were playing a very poor Liverpool side on the night.
Put Matip, Thiago and Nunez/Jota in that side and we’d have won comfortably.
But obviously the pundits can’t see it like that, they needed to create a narrative. Martinez went from zero to apparent hero. It’s pretty easy to defend when Firmino is playing closer to Rashford than he is your centre back.
United aren’t back, they took advantage of us being in a bad situation.

Keita and Jota aren’t necessarily in our first 11. Fabinho was dropped. We missed Thiago, and our bench was weak. But he’s right that it wasn’t far from our best 11.
