I expect part ex will be used to spare their blushes.

E.g. Ā£100M plus Maguire for Declan Rice.

West Ham will value Maguire at Ā£20M and claim it is a Ā£120M deal; whereas Man Utd will value Maguire at Ā£50M and claim it is a Ā£150M deal.

Something like that, with plenty of wiggle room to save face.

We should sell West Ham Nat Phillips instead.

West Ham might not have a manager after the WC the poor form they are showing

I agree with that. It has been a strange one. He did really well when he had to play for a stretch in our back line. At the least he showed that he was Premier League quality, and I thought there would be a few teams who would be interested at the Ā£15-20M level.

I donā€™t know if we overpriced it, or if other teams didnā€™t quite fancy him. Probably a bit of both, but it was a strange one to me, as heā€™s a solid citizen and can do a job for someone.

Whoever pays a fee bigger than 20 million pounds for Maguire, fully deserves him.

Think we pulled his move at the last minute in the summer, so he could stay and cover.

Where was he going?

If I was a manager taking over a club in the bottom half of the table, Iā€™d be banging down Kloppā€™s door for Nat.

I think Nat Phillips and Maguire would make an excellent Championship CB pair, with Nat leading the line, of course.

I think there were several teams supposedly interested in him. Bournemouth were one that I remember being mentioned as perhaps the closest to a deal before the club decided to keep him due to the injuries to other players.

I only know that JĆ¼rgen mentioned it in a pre-match press conference I think.

Ronaldoā€™s sense of entitlement and lack of self-awareness is astonishing and he has just ruined his legacy at Man Utd which made him famous on the international football circuit. Embarrassing himself. He has no respect for others. It is always about him.

However, he was very complimentary about LFC fans giving him applause and support at Anfield, after the tragic loss of his child.

More tidbits from the summary on the BBC website. This guy has lost it.

Quoting:

On Rangnick, Ronaldo said: ā€œIf youā€™re not even a coach, how are you going to be the boss of Manchester United? Iā€™d never even heard of him.ā€

Wayne Rooney has criticised former United team-mate Ronaldoā€™s behaviour this season and the Portugal international also criticised the ex-England striker.

ā€œI donā€™t know why he criticises me so badlyā€¦ probably because he finished his career and Iā€™m still playing at a high level,ā€ said Ronaldo.

ā€œIā€™m not going to say that Iā€™m looking better than him. Which is trueā€¦ā€
