When the shit hits the fan, and they've got the wrong man, that's Amorim!

Dear @PeachesEnRegalia:

If your team is the worst
Based on your recent outburst
That’s Amorim

If you yell stay the course
But you lack a workhorse
That’s Amorim

If you break a tv
And sir Jim says it’s not free
That’s Amorim

If you need a hair dryer
But the frying pan is the fire
That’s Amorim

If you make your lads cry
And the caf says you’re our guy
That’s it for Amorim

I wonder what he was yelling at them?

‘You pack of useless cunts are fucking rubbish!!! In fact, I was just speaking to this reporter outside…’

I was going say he should have kept the “worst Man Utd team ever” behind closed doors but it seems he went even further behind closed doors.

Shouldn’t even be saying it behind close doors to the team, why would anyone want to play for someone who does believe in them. Especially when his tactics are making the team even worse than under the previous crap coach/manager

It’s one of the more baffling things I’ve seen said.

And he’s not even right :joy:

Two and a half years earlier, United’s scouting operation in South America had identified a 19-year-old Caicedo as a promising, long-term signing with exciting potential.

A deal, while complex, was far from insurmountable but United passed and the next month the then little-known Ecuador midfielder joined Brighton.

Yep, and hindsight is 20/20.

Caceido should count his lucky stars that there wasn’t a serious approach back then because his career would be even more fucked than it is now. It’s not like he would have come to a place like United with the troubles they have and performed like he did at Brighton, or the club even been smart enough to send him out on a valuable loan like Brighton did.

And what is the talk about those “initial” fees for Garnacho and such? If there was a whole bunch of add-ons that were quite easily met then name that fucking price and not the fake as hell 150k. Written by a United fan clearly.

Watching Goldbridge ,

He’s saying that Garnacho is worth 75m pounds. Because United paid shit money for Mount and Yoro.

He’s not worth half that. I can’t believe they turned down £40m for him considering their stated aim is to generate funds by turning out the under achievers.

25-30m tops.

Just can’t be overestimating players because of their shit transfers like Antony , Sancho , Mount & Yoro.

I think the twat Goldbridge was saying that it doesn’t matter if people think Garnacho is a good player. He’s young with lot of years in the contract, and the selling club dictates the price.

No wonder United got screwed over in the transfer window so often.

'Braga player Fransergio, who told The Athletic back in November: “He isn’t shaken by defeats. He is calm in his words, his expressions, and his posture. You won’t see him swearing or throwing things.”

Bruno Simao, who played for Amorim at Casa Pia and has known him since they were children: “He knows that he cannot react badly, because this will pass to his players… He remains calm. You get angry but you don’t pass this to the players.”

He managed a total of 231 games for Sporting over four years and eight months, during which time he never lost more than two games in a row — never mind the seven defeats in 15 games he has suffered so far at United.

These are still ludicrously early days in his tenure, as such we can’t draw firm conclusions about his success or otherwise at United, but as a coach he has never really had to deal with failure like this before.’

Okay , this smacks of desperation.

Napoli - we’ll offer 50m Euros for Garnacho
United - we are holding out for 75m GPB

1 day later
Napoli - we’ll stick to 50m euros
United - we can go down to 65m GBP

1 day later
Napoli - we’ll stick to 50m euros
United - we offer a discount to 50m GBP

And then the inevitable happens.

Still a decent deal for United considering the caliber of the player but so much for their much vaunted “best in the class” bargaining ability.

So is it pounds or euros ?

It will probably entail United agreeing for 50m Euros at the end.

Or it may be a case of the deal being restructured more favourably to Utd…

Doubt it.

It’s just that when it comes to a fire sale. The buyer has all the things in their favour and not United.

This isn’t a Coutinho sale where Liverpool weren’t financially bound to sell. Napoli could pressure United to pay in terms spread over 8 years and United would still have to agree to that.
