Peak INEOS right there
You guys are only partially correct about the big money being the lure for managers to Man United, but itâs not just that. Good managers will always back themselves, and if they feel that they could be the one to turn Man United around and get them back to the top, they know theyâd be revered as an all-time great.
Klopp was able to do that at Liverpool despite many failing before him. United will always attract decent manager because of that.
Klopp rejected United because he saw what it actually was.
United will attract the flavours. But they donât have the structure.
Liverpool even before hiring Klopp had the structure with Edwards and Co which made Kloppâs decision easier.
You love to see their struggles (the old fellaâs ticket needs sorting out, donât wish that sort of stuff on anyone).
But the struggles throughout the club - ownership, suits, recruitment, players, system, value for money⌠and a coach who is happy to throw everyone under the bus?
This last part seems stupid, unless he is hoping to be sacked and get out of there with a nice payoff. Apart from that, I donât understand his angle. It is self-defeating.
Clearly they arenât going to buy a new squad in one fell swoop. He is going to have to work with what heâs got and change it as he goes, same as everyone.
Looking at them for over ten years since Ferguson, I would make a case that Moyes might have been the best one theyâve had, but expectations were still so high when he was there, so they booted him out quickly.
And stumbled from bad to worse sinceâŚ
I genuinely have bigger concerns at the moment but I was merely pointing out that this might signal a change in their thinking - which could be concerning given that I think that this hierarchy will persevere with Amorim and give him all the help that he can get. I donât know much about Dorgu, only what Iâve read about him.
Also, no disrespect meant but if a player like Kerkez would rather join Man United than Liverpool (or Arsenal or Man City) at this moment, then that player probably wasnât the right fit for Liverpool. I donât think that Man United were a rival for his signature (I also think heâs incorrectly labeled as a Man United fan, which might have led to those links).
All players are money and trophy fans.
Everyone thinks this about Dortmund. The CL run helped comfort those when in reality theyâve been shit for some years not shit shit but this just very average shit.
As for Man Utd learning theyâve appointed a manager who has thrown the whole team under a bus.
That 18 year old defender wasnât a bad signing. Not every signing they make is bad but until they always combine the decent moves with several horseshite ones.

Edit
There is a poll in the comments "Who do you reckon cried?"
Is âAmorimâ a valid answer?
In my mind their issues are related purely to attitide. They have at least 5 players on the pitch at any one time that cant be asked. They donât run, thereâs no pressure on the ball and they let runners go.
Its as if the ego of Fernandes has permeated right through the squad.
last time I looked at it, Onana was in the lead, but they are still voting tbf
UtdMenace? Hmm. Makes me think of two posters as possibilities. Identify yourself and be adored.
Whatâs his game with saying they are the worst ever Man Utd side? I canât get my head around it as it seems so self-sabotaging.
We all know the score looking at them. Changes will need to be made, and the manager will have to get a tune out of them as he goes. He canât sign a completely new side in one fell swoop, so I donât know why he would belittle the whole group.
Is he trying to get sacked because it is such a huge job, and he has already concluded that he wants out, but with a payoff?
If thatâs not the reason for the way he speaks, I donât know what is.
Bring back Nani
