In your opinion …
This is delicious. Is there somewhere we can see the full thing? Or has it not premiered yet?
If Ronaldo hadn’t heard of Ralf Rangnick, then he is an even bigger self-obsessed prick than previously thought.
You legend
That’s old.
What really?
bugger,i cant stomach watching Piers.
i’ll look for the new one
Its out on Wednesday
Birds of a feather…
If you think they are finding their feet I’d watch the game, extremely lucky, if we could have beat by Soton as the post match thread suggests then they should have been tanked.
Fair enough, I didn’t watch the game indeed. We’ll have to see how it goes, but they seem more stable to me than some time ago, maybe not in a very dominant way, but they seem to find a way to rack up the points for the time being.
There stable but it’s a long way to go even Gary Neville admitted this (well this was 2 minutes before they scored).
I do think the result masks it somewhat, Fulham really should have scored a few more. It was no better than ours, a dodgy pen is all that’s really the difference between a poor Liverpool side with injuries and a current Man Utd with the worst excesses out of it.
Salah disapproves. Brown bread only, and just one slice!
Casemiro has been big for them. They finally have someone now that they can rely on in midfield. The time of McFred goof-ups is past sadly. Eriksen is also pretty good technical player. I know that the stats show that Bruno Fernandes is having some sort of a revitalisation, but I think its actually Eriksen that has gotten them ticking bit better. They look like a team now.
But I fully agree with @mattyhurst , yesterday’s game was full on chaos end to end stuff. De Gea pulled off a couple of blinders. Fulham were all over United for the most part, and both of United’s goals were against the run of play.
Oh they’ve improved I won’t say that but that but they are pretty much one result away from being even with us and bar our CL performance it was a 14 games to mostly forget
When you’re taking rhetorical cues from Trump…
The worst part about this whole episode is the amount of people on SM who are wholeheartedly in agreement with him. In their world “respect” apparently means ignoring the effects of age and continuing to pick payers based on what they did 5 years ago (or more).
This is one of the most jarring things that happened this season (and the season is full of them) - what would have been their position had we managed to beat them at Old Trafford? I doubt they would have simply switched places with us in the current table, I think they’d have been lower than that, even by one spot. We breathed life into their season and set Ten Hag on course to immediately fight for top four.
Can’t stand Man Utd, but they are a proper football club who built up their wealth on the back of on pitch achievement. OK, they have massive issues as the Glazers have squandered it, pulling loads of money out, loading loads of debt onto the club, and letting the stadium deteriorate.
So they have a heck of a lot of work to do, but in this new age of artificially inflated teams, my traditional hatred for Man Utd almost seems quaint now, because it is mere footballing rivalry, rather than human rights injustice being washed away (it never will be) that is a stain on the game.
So with all that said, they are making steps in the right direction.
ETH may or may not get them to where they want to be, but from afar I can see that he is a leader. Ronaldo has been indulged his whole career, so that’s why we now get this unseemly spoilt brat whining like a baby and spoiling whatever regard they once had for him.
He won’t care, of course, as he is all about himself - money, goals, trophies, appearances.
ETH has stood up to Ronaldo and he has my respect for that. Ideally he will put the smack down further and fine him more, and be brutally honest with the public about how unprofessional Ronaldo has been, and how unacceptable that is. Ideally he will also stick the knife into the preening cock by saying his performance level is not what it was either.
Anyway, can’t stand Man Utd, but it’s just football rivalry, and a new breed has taken over and deserves more ire.
But on this one, Ronaldo is bang out of order and ETH has the upper hand.
