Isnt it around £750m since the takover about 20 years ago??
What’s funnier is that over the last 10 years the’ve spent about £1.43bn on transfers (with only about £200m of that funded by sales), about half of that was over the last five years alone producing the fruits of the current squad!
Which makes the Conference League that bit more perplexing. When you look at the sides Chelsea would face, there have to be multiple sides that will field an XI paid less than the average Chelsea player.
Real Sociedad taking ManU will be worth a watch, I think
Might be to Utd’s advantage. Helps generate interest and a better fee for him next summer, while getting him off the wage bill permanently. Possibly the same with Antony.
Rashford showing he can still play helps salvage his value, but it just makes the questions around Amorim that much bigger. Amorim hasn’t done anything to establish his authority other than collect his paycheque. Running off Rashford has only seen the season turn that much worse - this is actually a worse situation than Sancho was for Ten Hag.
