So are you telling me you’re NOT putting fifty quid on them to win the league next year?
I don’t usually bet anything more than a fiver.
Wouldn’t do that either. In fact for him to win the sack race might be a decent bet.
The Amorim and Ange sack race all comes down to Europa.
So at least one of the two will hit the dirt pretty soon?
Ange much more likely to go if they crash to Frankfurt.
I think Amorim is unlikely to be sacked no matter what happens given short tenure. But you never know.
In case Amorim is given the boot, who should replace him?
Maybe the return of Moysiah the real messiah who has won the “super prestigious” Europa Conference League recently?
Afterall it’s still an European trophy which Amorim whose only success has been in a minor national league.
Also, Moysiah’s Everton has not lost in last their 9 PL games, remaining one of only 2 clubs having that record. Amorim in contrast, has lost thrice.
So, despite Sir Rat’s recent criticism, he’s better than Amorim.
No idea after all I had never heard of Slot or Amorim when they were first announced on the Liverpool short list. Once again our scouting research worked wonders.
Plenty to choose from. Whoever united buy they overpay!! But probably a moot point.
Im talking about next season.
Also I don’t think either would be sacked until the summer now.
So what’s Jim’s end game here. Fishing for government funding…whether from home or elsewhere? He is in the oil business…
I think he is likely being fairly authentic in his stated goals. I think he is likely though just limited in his vision for how better run a business like this and so is falling back on the only things he knows how to do.
I assume it’s an attempt to look frugal.
Of course his net worth is 30bn
Just consider that for a minute. 30bn….Think of all those people you wish you could help.
No one needs to be worth 30m let alone 30bn.
There’s someone worth way north of 300B and he still wants Even More.
True but we should question all of it not start making comparisons.
The greed of Man knows no bounds.
The richer the greedier.
Of course, as in everything else, there are exceptions to the rule.
From the numerous mere millionaires to the rarefied centibillionaires of which there are at least 15 (not sure about latest figures), not that many are (publicly) are committed to the better good of mankind.
The majority are selfishly chasing greater heights to their money mountain. The more the merrier.
Most of us here will likely witness the ascent of the world’s first trillionaire within our lifetime.
Just imagine a world in which a person’s private wealth could give them as much power as a President. Oh wait …
Yes the old adage one man one vote may be a thing, but not everyone has an equal right, it all comes down to
After the money talk, let’s get back on track.
They’re now undefeated in their last 4 PL matches, just behind 7th placed Brighton with 5. Neverton’s 9 puts them in second place.
Has Amorim finally turned the last of his many corners and is staying there for how long?
Source?
If that’s right, then the Merseyside derby could see either one of the top two losing their spot. Probably just means a bore draw though…

They’ve not really come up against a team in form of late. Last 4 PL games were;
- Everton (A) - D - 2-2
- Ipswich (H) - W - 3-2
- Arsenal (H) - D - 1-1
- Leicester (A) - W - 3-0
Given their squad, you expect them to beat three of those teams. Could easily have lost to Arsenal.
The next four will show what progress has been made - they’ve got Forest (A), Man City (H), Newcastle (A), Wolves (H). Fully expect them to lose at least two of those.
