Neville is a top pundit, but still incredible at times with his United thing.
One way or another, always finds a way to spin it positive. Carra isn’t as biased when he talks about Liverpool.
Said that he would not criticise players being honest and that the timing was poor, stealing the headlines after Garnacho’s winner at Fulham. Young player, late winner, big win, “similar position from which Ronaldo used to score”, etc.
Does he honestly think that Cristiano Ronaldo (or anyone outside United) gives (or should give in fact) two f*cks about Alejandro Garnacho?
Ronaldo is coming to the end of his career and his goalscoring record is all that matters to him and that’s probably been the way of it for some time.
I reckon it’s killing him that Messi is only about 25 goals behind him but is 2 years younger and playing regularly for a team that wins 90% of it’s matches.
Wouldn’t be surprised if Ron turns up at Celtic next season so he can bang in hatties against Kilmarnock and Ross County.
Messi taking his record will kill him, he’ll need putting on suicide watch.
I’d never come across him before, but somehow Piers Morgan managed to disgust me more in that interview. Like way more. Slimy, dirty, vicious, scummy, droll, glib bastard. I need more expletives, it doesn’t feel enough.
This second one was just awful. He was contradicting himself with every sentence. It was so obvious how scripted both the interviews were. Probably Morgan and Ronaldo sat together for days cooking up the questions and lot of the answers seemed mugged up, like he had practiced in front of the mirror before. And the wink at the end, my god. Hope the footballing community ostracizes him. United fans already have, apart from delusional muppets like Goldbridge.
