When the shit hits the fan, and they've got the wrong man, that's Amorim!

Was it Amy Winehouse whose estranged father suddenly reappeared in her life when she got famous and arseholed-vulnerable?

It’s nice, in a way, that people believe a parent will want the best for their child - probably reflects well on the way they were raised - but it’s sadly often not the case.

I don’t know enough to comment on the Greenwood case, especially the girlfriend side of it, so best not go there. He’s a dick, mind, and probably should be in jail.

I’ll leave it now but hopefully I don’t see her again in the press. What ever happens between them two in the future, she can’t look for sympathy :man_shrugging:t2:

so the abuser earning £75kpw isn’t something to gain in your opinion?

With the way child support and alimony is, they have a kid together, then she can leave and would still get half which would set the whole family up pretty nicely.

Sadly I think this poor woman has been manipulated as much by her family as by the p.o.s Greenwood

I think staying with a rapist just for his money and to hope to take half of it is grim

I’m not saying that she is thinking that, but her family see her staying with him as their gravy ticket so they push her to stay. The other alternative is that they have to get off their arses and actually work.

Yeah but if it’s at the cost of putting your daughter and now grandchild at the risk of her boyfriends attacks just for the chance of money. What kind of parenting is that, if I had a daughter even if her boyfriend wasn’t the nicest of guys nevermind like Greenwood I’d be telling her to move on, even if he was a millionaire. Money isn’t worth putting kids at risk

So, now we’re 50-46 ahead of them in major trophies.

They’re still in the possibility to win another 3 this season.

Casemiro is doing what Cantona did for them ages ago. And they’re in such form that they might humiliate us in our own yard pretty soon. Ugh, I hate this season.

If it wasn’t for Everton being in the drop zone and Cheaty being investigated again, I wouldn’t be able to derive any glee from this season so far.

ETH showing what he really thinks about the cup:

Anything for Englands Darling

Yeah they like to somehow kid themselves that ETH can work wonders with a team that cost shit loads it’s like comparing Sunak to Truss.

Sunak might be ok at leading the country but looks like FDR compared to Truss.

He’s done good work. It’s a bit churlish to try to argue otherwise, but a lot of it was really low hanging fruit. It’s far easier to rise from 6th to 3rd and look kind of competitive, especially when you have a ton of money, than it is to take that next step. There are further improvements he will need to make to get the project to where they fell it will need to be, but it’s no longer at the obvious stage for what those steps are. Lets see what he does then

United supporters can hear him talk about it for 19.99 per month on the famous website.

I don’t think it’s Churlish to say they are now performing at the level the outlay suggests they should do.

I saw someone suggest he was working miracles, they’ve never had the inability to compete off the field with Man City, they’ve always had if spent wisely the ability to compete. The fact it’s their first cup in 6 years suggests he is finally able to do that.

They can buy as many Norwich scarfs as they want and get as many games cancelled as they want the fact remains the only concern for the fans should have been the leverage of debt but that seemed a complete after thought to some of them.

They have made mistake after mistake, we simply cannot do that, they are writing off 80m worth of Maguire effectively not to mention Sancho. We struggle to write off the outlay Keita, if this club had done similar we wouldn’t be here hoping this season ends.

Particularly when 3 of your rivals implode…will be interesting to see how both Arsenal and Utd fair next season if we, City and perhaps Chelsea get back on track.

I see Manure where we were before Klopp. Able to win a trophy every now and then. I don’t see them doing more than that for now. They should be doing whag they are doing. ETH hasn’t got them over performing, he’s got an under performing team at the level they should be. Time will tell if he can do more. But it’s fair to say he’s doing a good job. He’s managed to impose his will so far.

Man Utd have spent a fortune. It stands to reason that as soon as they get a half way competent manager they will improve. They have done nothing so far other than what should be expected. They have underachieved for so long, relative to standing and financial outlay, that a move toward par is making their fans giddy. Hence they are talking about the quadruple.

As things stand they are ahead of us, but as soon as we invest in the midfield, I expect us to move ahead of them again. In the meantime it will be nice if we beat them on Sunday, both to boost our own prospects and also to help them wind their necks in a bit.
