That would probably be my preference but considering that
A) the EL is devalued by the UCL taking teams finishing 5th in the CL for example this year⌠And for other leagues as well. And UEFA continues to want to make it accessible to as many teams as possible.
If UEFA goes back to the previous format , Iâd be all for what youâve suggested. As in teams not getting a second bite of the cherry.
