@SBYM anything on Garnacho? Thought I’d ask because I respect your anonymous sources.

You didn’t ask, but my sources tell me he’s fucking shit

Thanks for this @SBYM, really enjoyed reading through this and to think when they were moaning 2 years ago… they were the golden days! Loved the response to your comment too - made it look like they had adopted the mindset of a feeder club who can be proud of when their players go on to have success elsewhere.

The remaining Glazers value ManU at $10 billion, which is 4x what they are worth now, and 2x the value Radcliffe purchased his stake for. The Radcliffe sale was to monetize a few of the Glazer siblings who wanted to cash out.

How do they get to $10b? Most top professional sports clubs trade at 4-5x turnover except in the NFL, where they go for 9x. ManU’s turnover will be ~Ā£600m (Ā£150m less than Liverpool’s!), so a $2.5b valuation appears correct. However, many American investors believe that top football clubs should be valued at least as highly as NFL franchises, given the global reach of the sport. So Ā£600m x 9 x $1.25 = $6.75b. Missing out on UCL qualification is literally a Ā£500m hit to the value of the club.

What’s the difference to get to $10b? The next big thing in sport will be the onfield experience fans will have by paying to have cameras on the field to get the perspective of the players. Think F1 but with a tiny camera attached to Mo’s shirt.

ManU stopped paying a dividend a few years ago IIRC, but the Glazers have taken something like £300-400m out in dividends over the past decade whereas interest payments have been something like £600m (and going higher when they have to refinance the debt).

The ManU supporters can protest all they want, but the Glazers and INEOS aren’t going anywhere soon.

Are they finally turning a long awaited corner?

Yep all they need is a big summer and they might be back (to 7th)

How does one continue to turn corners and still get worse?

Only one possibility. It’s a downward spiral.

The number of games Man U would have needed this season to have overtaken our points total, based upon their final ppg.

Assuming we only played 38.

And not taken our foot off the pedal for the last four.

If I am a neutral, I will be waiting to see whether Amorim is brave enough to get rid of parasites like Fernandes and start building a team of his own all over again.

But then their shit fans won’t give him time. He is gonna spend 200mil pounds again and get sacked in October.

He’ll bin a lot of the current squad I’m sure which is a small fear I have. He might then put together a squad of young hungry players because they cant afford any big names. Then again they might have sacked the entire scouting team.

I cant see him selling Fernandes, but they might not have a choice. If a big Saudi offer comes in for example that could help them build a bit.

Having new fresh young players is great but will they thrive under their possession game or similarly flounder as this current side have done?
