Yeah, their pull is still very strong. I find it funny how they pleaded poverty a few months ago and then went on on a spending spree, especially if this one comes through. I can only imagine the amounts of money they would have spent had they won Europa League and thus qualified for CL.

They are still gambling on finishing in the conference league places with this spend. If they don’t get that ? They are screwed even more.
I’m just assuming the loans are just deferred this year but they can’t be deferred totally.

United might get the revenue but they needed to tone down their spending some 6-7 years ago to come to a position of strength now. But bless Woodward and his genius.
Well I for one am glad that they were able to sack off 500+ regular employees in order to avoid bankruptcy…and then spunk 200+ million quid on players.
