It’s a bit sad how we all got used to 3 new kits a year! For the money we know and now tolerate it.
In the old days (80s) am I right to think we changed one of the kits every year? Home or away. We also probably only had a third kit for a few matches a year and it was the home top with away shorts or some thousand washed version!

In the 90s you’d have a kit for every 2 years anyhow. Can’t comment any further back, mind you that’s when third kits came in.
Glad the CL kit never caught on for more than one season.
I don’t think so as our gold kit in the late 90s predates the one CL kit we had.
Yeah I am hoping Adidas recreate it or re-release it. It was my favourite as a kid.
Hope they embroid the bird on the none stadium one.
Especially on that suggested Green one which I’m well keen on.

Now that font on that crest looks better than on the green one (where it looks horribly cheap, even if the shirt is really nice).
Mad to think that we’ve had Standard Chartered as a sponsor now for 15 years and yet I’ve still never bothered to find out who they are or what they do.
In the time we’ve had them on the front of our shirts we’ve gone from the kits being made by Adidas, to Warrior, to New Balance, to Nike and back to Adidas again.

Can’t wait for the long sleeve red home jersey. Why couldn’t we wear these jerseys the last home game? Was it bc we’re rocking adidas next year?
