I dislike the Standard Chartered in black even more than the red badge.
Not a great start from them bar the green one.

I like it.
The green one is already an all time classic… and it’s not even out yet.
Home one looks very good too, reminds me of the 2007/08 home kit.
The white away one is the weak link of the 3.
Yeah I’m getting that green one. I don’t think we’ve had a green one since about the year I started to support Liverpool. Had that classic green and white one which was my first top.
Much better being involved with a European brand.
Anyone know what our existing Nike deal was worth per season?
Allegedly, 120 million pounds for the last season but I genuinely can’t remember anything for previous seasons (I assume it was significantly lower).
£30M plus royalties (.20 on sales)
It’s about time someone rename this thread.
Apparently due to a legal obligation the new kit wont be out until Aug 1st and we have to wear Nike in pre-season.
I’ve noticed the Adidas logo is almost the same size as the badge on a lot of their current kits, which looks shit. Still, better to be involved with a European company, as said above, but I’d rather we found something more interesting. Homogeny is king when it comes to the modern kits, I suppose.
Will be interesting as now the 3 biggest clubs in England, besides from having the same main colour, have the same manufacturer. Let’s see how original they are. But I’m glad we’re back with Adidas. The club is about to get more money from me again (NB era was the last time), since I’m not a Nike guy.
Admit it: that’s what you meant.
Assume we will get the same. Maybe a PL champions edition jersey.
Doubt it, next season’s kit must be done and dusted for months now…
This is for Bayern’s 125th anniversary.
Maybe we get our next special one when we’re 150 years old, but who knows who will be our manufacturer then.
For me, it’s never been natural for Nike to manufacture Liverpool kits, while Adidas were manufacturing Man United kits. Hopefully this restores the cosmic balance - and I’d really be happy if Liverpool won PL and/or CL in an Adidas kit since they only won League Cup during their previous spell together.
So basically what you are saying is when Adidas make our kits we are shit.
They also get a special Oktoberfest jersey every season which is usually pretty nice.
