Watched Senesi in a game against United 4 - 4 and he looked poor so a no from me.

Kamara is adequate with the ball for a player who is primarily in the side for his defensive abilities but I donā€™t see it all as the answer as the answer to the midfield possession and distribution issues weā€™ve had this season.

I donā€™t recall Camavinga being the expert passer/distributor type either.

If only Macca was more robust and pacier.

He isnā€™t and I am absolutely positive we have no interest in him either.

Fabs was hardly a natural athlete but at our peak with him in the side he won a lot of a possession for us. Proper spacing and cutting out losing the ball in the wrong places will go a lot further to helping us address how easy it is to play through our midfield than throwing in a dedicated ball winner. It is something that this group of players was doing fine for 2/3 of the season last year

Bruno G of the barcodes or Pacqueta of the hammers would be nice but one club we canā€™t approach probably for a decade and the other seems like heā€™s fighting some inner demons so :frowning:

Guimaraes is quality, badly unused by Brazil and sometimes I feel for him still being at Newcastle at the stage of career heā€™s in. Contract until 2028 and not sure if he has a clause (he used to have one, canā€™t remember if it was a general clause or only outside the PL).

Paqueta is a different to him, heā€™s a #10 (no matter what some teams tried to invent with him) and thatā€™s the last thing we need, considering we have enough of those and questions as it is how to create balance going forward with them.

Palace are out of League and FA Cup and not involved in Europe. Predicting that they will sell Guehi after their final match of the month (25th).

Looking at the Wiki page, the league fixtures are complete and Palace will have playoff games in February on 19th and 26th.

The draw is next week, so the fixtures will be decided then.

Bradley injury surely means we have to go get a defender this window. Iā€™d favour a CB and have Gomez/Szoboslai cover right back when needed.

If that isnā€™t Guehi as he doesnā€™t want to move then we have to go get someone else. Even if that a non-homegrown option that necessitates us letting Endo go then so be it. Keep McConnell around to replace him as ā€œbreak glass in case of emergencyā€ midfielder.
