Who would you buy?

Never seen Ugarte play I don’t believe but he looks really good. Smooth on the ball and an excellent tackler. Looks like he can give a free kick away in dangerous places. Maybe too willing to go in on a challenge. I like the aggressiveness though.

Yeah, one of my favourite traits for a DM is the gini like trait of being able to give him the ball under pressure and knowing hes going to retain it, sometimes even make something positive out of it. You’d need to watch a lot more of this guy than these highlights clips to know if this is just the times it worked for him, but they at least show a player with a lot more to him than simply a ball winner.

Just waiting for the Philip Billing & Ward Prowse rumours to surface after being told all our other targets are “unavailable”

If we had £180m to spend, Bellingham would have been agreed by now.

If we manage to land this trio, I feel we will do it for around £120m.

Wasn’t there something out last week which said Mac Allister could be got for early fifties(equated to 60 million euro i think)

There was but at this stage everything is speculation.

I’d add Kone and Thuram to that list.
Feels like the club is opening negotiations with all of their interested options with the idea of playing clubs and agents against each other and also safeguarding against having their pants pulled down like last summer with targets.

Do we need to get three midfielders when we also have Jones, Elliot and Bajcetic, in addition to the three senior midfielders? I think Ugarte and Mac Allister would be enough, plus a CB.

Jones has done really well so I would go for a 6 and an 8. £180m would get us Bellingham and Ugarte.

Lavia, Ugarte and McAllister.
Plus Jones, Bajcetic Fabinho.

Hendo in Milner role and Thiago as the icing on the cake.

Same

Barella, Mac Allister and Ugarte for £188m. What’s a hypothetical £8m between friends.

Barella and Mac.

With them two, I don’t even need a 3rd midfielder.

The rest of the money on a CB and off we go.

Even end up with a bit of spare money for some bits and bobs.

Sorted. :sunglasses:

Two midfielders and a CB would be my choice too.

However, none of Henderson, Thiago, and Fabinho has much in their tanks and we will need another midfielder next season. Who knows, maybe we will unearth another Curtis/Bajcetic by then.
