I really wish I could meet up with you all today. I need my Liverpool tribe around me right now

I think we all know everyone on TAN today needs an arm round them…it’s nice to know we can come here and express our thoughts…mine are sadness, disbelief, the question why…and I want to put an arm round his team mates…

Hope Kelleher is okay. Him and Diogo were very close and no activity from him yet.

Stay strong Caoimhin

This is how I am feeling…this is how we are feeling…we’ve heard from our newer lads.

Imagine what our old heads who spent five fantastic years with Diogo are feeling.

They must be beyond devastated.

This is a brother they went to battle with.

I got home and just went to bed with a cuppa and had radio on listening to the tributes and I have been in bits since i heard the news.

Keep thinking about his family.

How are his team mates going to cope without him? Isn’t pre-season next week?

Simply awful news. I heard about it 35 min ago and can’t think of much else.
Condolances to his family and friends.

I was wondering what will happen to his lungs if he actually just took the damn plane??

It can become worse with the pressure change. I flew with an ankle injury, it swelled up and became extremely painful.

This makes me sadder. He was coming back for training.
