Yes and it’s a travesty. AI design. Seriously, why can’t we just have a statue of them that looks like them so we can remember?
You can also be creative and represent them in abstract design…
I’ll wait for the work to be installed to pass judgment
It looks err different, but asking AI to design a tribute is abit lazy. A human artist would have put their heart and soul in their work.
It’s a bit sad to say it, as anything will be good to have really as a little place to gather and remember, but if we go into details, yeah it does look a bit weird. Maybe it will look better in real life, from the right angle.
And they’ve dropped most of the song’s lyrics. Because it seems like everyone’s running down the wing these days.

Have you seen the plinth? It looks like looks like something they knocked up at Kitchens Direct. I am fuming because wavy bits of metal and Corian is obviously a cheap way to mark this tragedy. How about Doggy sitting cross-legged with his game controller with Andre beside him? Or the pair of them running and doing the crocodile? Something supporters can tell their kids what it means down the years. Not this corporate doodad.
Is there any reporting that says that this is definitively an AI creation?
And even if, for the sake of argument that this is an AI creation, what is wrong with using AI?
As I stated earlier, I’ll wait for it to be installed to pass judgment
Not sure if it is or not. What I mean is doing a memorial for a person who was a close friend or relative is personal and heartfelt rather than a computer doing it.
Cheaper, gotta save money on the lost future ticket money ![]()
To be clear I have no idea if AI was involved or not, but it sure has the soulless appearance of digital inspiration all over it. It’s also very unlike the club to do a player memorial like this and I would love to know what input fans or family were given. I hate it.
Did his family approve the design? Were they involved in any way in its creation or selecting it?
That would be my question to determine if it was appropriate.
Andy Robertson "It is not an excuse, but what we went through in the summer no team will ever go through.
"I hope they never go through it because the devastation we went through…football didn’t matter.
"We didn’t care about football for weeks. None of us wanted to train. That was the reality.
"As footballers we then of course have a duty, we have to move on, we have to keep going and we managed that.
"The Bournemouth game (the season opener at Anfield) was ridiculously emotional with all of Jots’ family being there.
“I think in the 20th minute you saw a real dip in performance after that because of the emotional impact that it had on all of us.”
Is there nothing we can’t complain about?
