On the question of who might stay for the near futureā¦
Dubravka. Woodman was rated as a good talent, so who knows.
Probably Lascelles, possibly one of Murphy/Lewis just as full back backups. Potentially Schar, if a more footballing manager takes over, although I think heās one who is more liked by fans than actually that good.
Iād say 2/3 out of Hayden, Willock and Longstaff. I think Hayden is/was a little bit underrated.
Saint-Maximin, Almiron and Wilson.
Not having them all as starters, but part of a squad that can be involved in moving forward a little bit up to a certain point.
But who the f*ck knows, with their situation, etc. Itās far, far from the situation City and especially Chelsea were in when they had their big takeover. Plus, back then there were no extras like City and Chelsea. Now, theyāre still there.
Extraordinarily stupid imo. Just take a look at how well itās turning out for them shoehorning in a hopelessly under qualified club legend at Old Trafford. In ten years time maybe , once heās earned his spurs , but anytime soon would just be reckless in the extreme , and luckily thatās one thing FSG certainly arenāt.

Itās performative and I have some sympathy with City here as theyāre right, itās unlawful. Probably why theyāve only gone for a month.

The league said it approved the takeover after receiving ālegally binding assurancesā that the Saudi state would not control the club.
The PIF, which will provide 80% of funds for the deal, is seen as separate to the state.
This is despite the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman, being listed as chair of PIF.
