The only piece of transfer business which was worse (for the other club) was the transfer of robbo from hull city with kevin stewart going the other side…

Torres for £50m to Chelsea? Coutinho to Barca of £146m?

Yep, Brad Smith.

They were proven players… Both torres as well as coutinho. Can’t ever get the logic of hull accepting kevin stewart for robertson.

They were obviously taken in by cardiffpete’s scout reports.

Will be the best case scenario for them as well. Gives them time to shuffle out the deadweight and then appoint a director of football… But not sure the clubs fans will see it as such

With Bruce being the obvious candidate also on that list.

I have a cunning plan…

Reinstate Bruce.
Sell club back to Ashley (or whoever) at half of what paid.
Sue the FA for libel, racism, whatever to get original investment back.
Never deal with Geordies again.
Go back to dismembering journalists.

I think the saudis might back out sometime later… Once they figure that they aren’t likely to get immediate results…

You only get white washing when you see immediate results on the pitch… If clubs allow their fans to have banners at every league game , that might turn the saudis off…

Plus the next royal coup which is always likely to happen…

A big if…all of these , but can always happen.

Comparing their spending ability or the size of their dicks perhaps

All none circumcised correct?

If they appoint Howe we won’t have to worry about them being a rival for a long time.

I like Howe and what he did at Bournemouth was quality as someone who is a secondary Bournemouth fan due to being at University he rescued that club.

That’s why a Swansea or a Cardiff would suit him, someone on the edges of the PL, he might work well getting a Newcastle back up if they go down but he would need others working with him.

Newcastle should be appointing a DOF and then going from there evidently that’s on hold till the end of the season and they’ve burned through every journeyman (bar Colin) I can I think of.

Will be interesting to see what Eddie does with a club other than Bournemouth. Personally, I think Bruce would have been more likely to keep them up. You look at Bournemouth’s goals against in its last three seasons in the PL. 4th worst, 3rd worst, 3rd worst. He likes to play open, expansive, entertaining football. That can work if they allow the team to go down and pop back up with him at the helm and better players around him. Won’t keep them in the PL this year, I do not think.

Yeah as I said he wasn’t great at Burnley so be interesting to see what happens. I know there were issues with family so guess we will see.
