Not only this, but our desire is clearly to win everything possible. It’s highly likely that we’ll have around 60 matches to play this coming season, we’re going to need a big squad with plenty of quality for rotation.
Ekitike has some experience playing on the left should that need arise, but even if not and we sell Nunez, we’re in need of two quality strikers with Jota also gone.

I do think this means that if we get a suitable offer for Salah after this season, We will be considering it. Especially if Salah has shown a dip or refuses to sign an add-on.
Having both Isak and Ekitike means that we might well be considering a change of formation too

I am normally the “hold your horses” guy when it comes to kids, but Rio is looking dynamite the pre-season footage. I wonder if he could be a wild card that allows us to use Cody through the middle as a back up without needing to spend 100m+ for a striker to give us “options”

Well he has a good record at St James, if they are interested in Elliott then it is a possible solution to move players between clubs and dilute the fee.
With Joyce saying that we believe Hugo to be flexible I wouldn’t be surprised if this happens now.

Diaz going out and Nunez following suit will be enough for us to register our interest in Isak.
80m for Diaz and 50m for Nunez.
I really don’t think we should be selling Elliot at this point. Sure , If a club having UCL spots comes in for him, sure. But i think we can hold on to Elliot for a bit more continuity.

We’ve absolutely walked all over them if we pull off this transfer.
Cherry on the top would be them panic buying Nunez towards the end of the window which isn’t beyond the realms of possibility looking at the striker market.
