It’s on.
Get the drill and hammer out or something.
Is @ZinedineBiscan reliable ?
Fucken Scouserdamus ova heah…
Who are we ?
Absolutely not lol
Must be expecting some outgoings soon i.e. Nunez, especially if we’re willing to sanction £120million for Isak.
Yeah Elliott could also be about 40m.
It’s boner time, lads…
It seems like John Henry really liked the title and the celebration of it, spending some chilling time on a party bus… drinking some beer in the rain etc.
I’m still having trouble believing this will actually happen but it would be the best answer possible to the center forward market this summer.
Yeah can’t believe Sandcastle would let us have him (for 120m even).
But perhaps this is an ‘otherwise-we’ll-bid-up-Ekitike-to-100m-if-you-don’t-deal-you-know-we’ve-done-it-before’ Hughes gangsta type effort? Wouldn’t have thought it would work in this day and age with a financially strong club owned by men wealthier than Croesus but who knows?
Like they made a bet with Arne, “win us the title and we will get you whoever you want.”
Going haha “never going happen….oh”.
Newcastle might be backed by limitless money, but they are still constrained by PSR. They aren’t a commercial juggernaut like ourselves, United, even City - so they can’t afford to splash cash on top wages just yet. I think they might see netting a huge profit for Isak as a gateway to giving them much more flexibility under the PSR and FFP rules to attract higher profile players and pay them considerable wages.
I reckon this is all a work, we’ve obviously done our homework here as regards Isak/Ekitike and will come away with one or the other when the dust settles.
Would be funny if the Saudis bid big for Diaz and Nunez. We give Newcastle the money, and it frees them up to spend a little bit more.
