I’ll take Mac Allister for 45m over the overrated Chelsea player Mount for 70m anytime. I think we dodged a bullet here. Mount clearly wanted United and I think our name was just thrown out there for negotiating purposes by his agent.
We will need to pair Mac Allister with a more physical player. At 5’9 159 lbs, he’s gonna get punished and bullied by bigger more athletic players. Mac’s true role is an attacking playmaker imo. So the other shoe still needs to drop.
