He was taunting him, in some high level, South American game of chicken. We’re gonna stick four past your boys Cavani, so I will lull you into a false sense of security and put it on a plate for you… but even then you will hit it wide and I will skip over it nonchalantly.
For me, even when he’s in top form, he’s not and was never 5/5 on the ball. He’s not crap either, let’s not exaggerate. He’s pretty good. But when he has a dip in form, it maybe becomes more obvious and more mistakes happen (very able to pull off amazing saves, but then have a total brainfart on the ball).
My problem with his in possession game is that it seems too slow, not alert enough, too relaxed. I noticed that in some of his very first games and thought it might improve with time. More often than not, it’s actually a totally okay decision. But you need to be decisive and quick. On your toes, not flat footed.
Hopefully he can settle off the pitch over the summer and get back to his best together with our returning/new CB’s for next season. That was a big part (I think bigger than given credit, because some of our attackers’ numbers already started to drop) of our title success.

We love you, thank you Alisson, you gave one of the best moments for us for a while now!
