Andy ROBERTSON: 2022/23

There’s some bollocks on Twitter and in the Daily Fail claiming that Real Madrid are interested in signing Robbo for 40 million. As mad as it might sound, if I were him I might be interested in the idea. I’m sure he’s very loyal, but it would be tempting.
It might also point to playing three CBs to allow Trent to stay in midfield.

I can picture Robbo telling them to fuck off, after the way they cheated us in 2018.

true story…a mate of mine was in barcalona a few weeks ago and was in same hotel as lfc - he said Robbo kept saying it was too hot and he was burning…I think we can rule out Madrid

£40 mil for Tsimikas! I would take that.

Throw in Vinicius Jnr and you’ve got a reasonable opening offer.

£40M plus Vinicius and Camavinga (whilst covering their wages) then you have our attention.

Could be some truth in it, a LB is probably top of their wish list and they don’t want to spend 60-70m on Alphonso/Cancelo. Robbo is still amongst the best LB’s in Europe.

Andy Robertson playing football in spain and living there, ha ha ha ha uk is too hot for him.

I hear Ancelotti is a big fan of Tierney.

More likey Tierney would go there

Can see Real aiming higher than bloody Tierney, who is struggling to keep or win his place back at Arsenal. If a LB is something they really want this summer in the first place.

Primarily because their preferred “LB” has been playing the inverted role Trent has recently taken on and KT as a more orthodox up and down LB is not capable of doing it. Tierney is still a good LB for a side who wants their FBs playing as FBs.

He is good, but I’d expect Real to aim higher than that.

Oh me too, but I dont think its fair to measure his quality on his lack of game time this season given the primary reasons for that

For a player who probably won’t want to go I’d demand a silly price and 40m isn’t it

For sure Madrid will be after a LB this summer, a LB and a striker is all they really need now assuming Bellingham is now tied up too.

Some reports saying they don’t want to pay as much as 60m for your Cancelo’s or Alphonso’s which I could see especially if you’re putting together such a financial package for Bellingham, that would by default eliminate a lot of the top top LB’s in the world.

I have no doubt Robertson won’t force a move, in fact it wouldn’t surprise me if he ends up Captain at some point.

So pay the 60m you cheap move stealing cnuts or go jog off.

Say, £40M plus Vinisius Jnr plus Camavinga (with R.M covering their wages for the duration of their contracts)?

That sounds a ‘fair’ deal to me

Why would we sell him for £60m?

I meant to write 80m

No se vende!

I love Andy so I wouldn’t sell the guy anyhow but if they think they can come along with a cut price option they can go swivel.
