The Anfield Wrap documentary on Robbo was excellent. We are losing a rare diamond. He is part of the ethos of the club.
My Scottish cousins are so proud of Robbo, their kids all went to St Ninians, same school as Robbo.
A must watch.

There have to be other Robbos out there. In my time, I have seen so many local lads who have been superb players for us and so many legendary players who have been signed from lower league clubs. Keegan, Clemence, Rush, Heighway, Neal, Joey Jones ..too many to recall.
Heighway was at Liverpool Uni and playing for Skelmersdale United. Imagine that now…
Why do we always have to bring in a “ready made star”. Seems like lazy scouting to me.
Are we really saying there isn’t a lad playing in the Championship or lower who isn’t at least as effective as Chiesa, Endo or Frimpong?.. Really? I don’t believe it.

Nah, it’s time. He wants to be first choice and he doesn’t want to play second fiddle. That’s fair enough.
Last season replacing him as first choice left back was near the top of everyone’s list. That’s what we did. It was always going to hurt.
He’s been near enough my favourite player over the last decade.

It just amuses me that he used to work in a Marks and Sparks in Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow. I quite possibly bought my work shirts off him. He also played his first League Game for Queens Park at Ochilview Park which was walking distance from my house.

My favourite interview, love Wrighty and Strachan was a bonus.
One thing Robbo said though in relation to what Klopp wanted from his full backs was the press and at times they were even expected to jump out to the opposition FB, something that never happens now and the opposition FB is now nearly always open
