The sad part is that a lot of the travelling supporters had already left the stadium, and did not get to wave goodbye.
It looks more like his young passport photograph and young enough to extend his contract :0)
He could extend it now…I’m sure…but I know he wants games…
Maybe it’ll have a Dorian Gray-like effect and we get the 25 year old Robbo back!
He scored an important goal for Como this week to keep their CL qualification hopes alive - nice to see he’s still doing it, nice guy, funny, but Robbo a cut above. Raised a lot of eyebrows when we signed for a meagre £7m if i remember correctly, leaves one the greatest left backs in our clubs history having won it all.
This is really interesting. Starting with how Robbo thought after his first interview with Kloppo: ‘I need to do everything I can to play for that manager’. Then Klopp being able to be at the same time very motivating with him, but also relentless and quite unforgiving in his demands towards him (to become a real defender).
This video shows both the vision and outstanding man-management capabilities of Klopp, and Robbo’s superb mentality as well. We bitterly miss Klopp, and will bitterly miss Robbo too next season.
It’s a shame that his last season with us ends up in mismanagement and chaos. He didn’t deserve that. Him being partially sidelined is probably the reason why he leaves. I’m sure that he’ll shine at his next destination.
Yeah, that clip reminded me just how much I miss JK ![]()

Emergency on Planet Earth came out when I was about 14 and it really changed my relationship with music. I had huge affection for Jay because of that but have never been able to look at him the same way after he complained that dating Winnona Ryder was hard because her boobs were bigger than you’d think and she liked to have sex a LOT.
Loved that album when it first came out, but even as a nipper I always suspected Jay Kay was a bit of a twat. He’s done nothing to change my mind.
Space Cowboy was a cracking album too, love the didge tracks.
Anywho, Robbo, a legend ![]()
Still watching it, but loved the quote of Milly “someone going and set the tone” and the Robbo taking on that responsibility, something we lack now.
