I did the god awful London midland a few times, If I did Sunday I took the day off and had an evening in Liverpool which always felt better than rushing back.

Luckily every time I took the train back directly we won, oddly every time I stayed we drew bar once when I stayed with my brother in Southport and once when I stayed in Manchester.

Also both the draws were in the Anfield road, in fact if you want a draw then give me a ticket in Anfield road, Kop we usually win bar one cup game and I’ve never sat in the Kenny stand, main stand is mostly wins and the odd loss.

Doesn’t seem to be any reason as we’ve played dog awful teams and drawn and my last game was the 4-3 against Man City (was on the Kop for that, sort of got to expierence it’s proper power that Sunday).

Anyone been in the Anfield Rd end lately? Has the building work started? And does it affect the experience?

Here’s the latest update from the club

Thanks. I was more wondering if it is affecting inside the ground.

It doesn’t appear to be. Similar to the redevelopment of the main stand. There are specific instructions for home and away fans accessing the Anfield Road End but as far as I can tell it isn’t impacting anything inside the ground at this stage.

I’m disappointed to report that I can’t find a gif of The Dude’s “I hate the fucking Eagles” scene in The Big Lebowski.

It’s not impacting inside the ground. The only impact so far has been on access. I’m not sure how they’re going to get fans in tomorrow now they’ve dug up all the way to the turnstiles. Presumably there’ll be some kind of temporary walkway on a match day.

Nice to see Anfield feature in the recent Doctor Who…

Also reference to Klopp and the Barca match

Nice touch but is that Adrian?

Kelleher making the save, Adrian in the background (not on the mural!).

Oh!..

Hang on.

You’re right - I think he’s on it near the Club World Cup…ffs

Yeah, Adrian’s on it.

John said they put every goalkeeper who was the starter when they won a major trophy.

European Super Cup it is for Adrian.

Please do let me know what I’m allowed to emotionally respond to, won’t you?

I share the sentiment, he’s definitely not covered himself in glory since his arrival. Sorry if it came across as anything more than that.

The mural is clearly goalkeepers who have won major honours with the club.

Adrian was the hero that night and so he is on the wall.
