Still waiting to see on those designs pics how the rood of the new ARE stand will be linked/attached (hopefully?) to the roof of the SKD stand. Hopefully there’s no “hole” like it is right now between the new Main Stand and ARE, but all four stands are nicely closed.

My only confusion is how they say 49 major trophies on the official site:
And in the Anfield tunnel (you can’t see it here, but saw by zooming some other pics), they say 44 major trophies (obviously not counting the EU Super Cup and Club World Cup).
Pick one or the other (even if there could be consensus for a third and fourth calculation as well).
I’ll ask that on my next Anfield tour.

True - Anfield was a bucket list item, but I have to admit, watching our cut price garden gnome fly bicycle kicks past stunned United keepers in the Big House 3 hours drive from my home for a salty inflated ticket price in a meaningless pre-season friendly didn’t suck either.
Which means I’m not opposed to giving more people a taste that makes them want more of the real thing.

That was such a fun time. We were maybe 10-15 rows behind that goal when it happened. Great weather too, unlike the following year at Notre Dame where heat strokes were occurring one after the other

Would be nice if they can solve the blustery conditions on the pitch on a windy day with clever engineering via the upgrade to Anfield Road end.

A lot of chatter today in the rags that Anfield has been ruled out of hosting any games at Euro 2028 due to the pitch being 4m shorter than the minimum requirement.
Other than some income to the club for hosting, I don’t see the benefit of this - especially if you get a England match and a load of fuckwits just wreck our gaff.
Let Everton host a European game for a change at their new ground - not like the club will ever play in one at the rate they’re going.
