I remember watching an England game played at Anfield on the telly when they were doing Wembley. Gosh it was dreary in terms of atmosphere.
I went to one. It was weird.
Not hosting England games is only a loss to players of the national teams that might have been involved.

What is opinion about building a New Anfield at the present site (if possible) or on a different location? Even after the ongoing extension, Anfield will be dwarfed by some of the largest stadiums in Europe:
Barcelona: 99354
Dortmund: 81359
Madrid: 81044
Milan: 78275
Bayern: 75000
United: 74879
A 75-80K capacity stadium will allow more fans. I think we have a huge waiting list for season ticket. The boost to our revenues (match day and other off-season events) will go a long in fighting the oil-fuelled clubs. Considering that we have moved from Melwood for the longterm and greater good, do you think itās worth considering.
We are just in the process of finishing the second part of our Anfield developmentā¦
I donāt think that question will be asked for a while, could be a good few decades even.

Thereās a sweet spot and itās likely to be between 65k-70k, no higher.

Thing is first 3 years of Klopp you could still access tickets relatively comfortably if you knew when to do so and weāre flexible.
I have no doubt it would have been the case last season when we dropped off due to injuries, one or two seasons of that and demand drops I think you also risk losing the atmosphere if you go too high. I think 65-70k is enough. Those stadiums mentioned are rarely filled anyhow even when successful.
