Anfield and Kirkby

Bollocks to that.

We have 5 clubs with bigger stadiums than us, with 2 more not too far from our capacity with 1 more club currently trying to build a stadium of their own that wiĺl be bigger than Anfield (if they manage to find the money to finush it).

We should be looking at 120K seat stadium as a big Fuck U to the rest of the league.

She’s a Liverpool fan.

Trent is available again so I hope him and Dua Lipa can continue where they started back in Kiev. :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Tie him down girl - to yourself and the club

Old fart makes witty joke about young pop star

In a shock development, boring old crusty bloke ‘Cynical Old Git’ made an online ‘joke’ about nonsensical pop star Dua Lipa (Two Lips to her friends) after she announced that she plans to entertain some young people at Anfield, the home of the greatest football club in history.
Mr Git has been taken into custody for his own protection.

I’d be tempted, but I wonder how much the tickets will be to see a tiny dot at the other end of the stadium?

There is a ticket with my name on it, if I discover he will be singing this one… Light As The Breeze

Really big names which is good for the club.

Was in the new Anni road stand for last nights game. Thought I’d share my experience of it. We usually sit in either the Main or Kenny, nearer the Kop.

From outside, it looks the business, matching up with the Main Stands design. There’s a fanzone under the stand, which requires your ticket to gain access. Went in about an hour before kick off. Spacious, with a lot of interactive stuff for kids, and then a bar on one side. Can’t imagine it gets too busy ever in there, but was good to check it out and get a pint.

The new concourse for the upper tier is excellent. Again, spacious, nice views out the windows, lots of food/drink units, but still required queing, particualry at HT. Its a massive improvement facility and space wise. Unlike the main stand, its not really that decorated with flags and art. A bit more sterile, but i assume that will come.

We were in AU1 (row 24). The view was decent, pic below. The atmosphere was also good, surprised me somewhat. Much noiser with the away fans in the stand (lower tier by the main stand). The best thing is the space in the stand, as with the main stand, your knees don’t touch the seat in front, and when you celebrate you dont end up with your hands on the folk in front stopping you falling over them. There were more kids around than im used to, but that didnt change anything really, just tried to cut my swearing down where possible.

Pic’s in wide angle so looks odd in the post but clicking it seems to give you a better idea!

Overall its good. I definitely prefer being in the Main or Kenny for the side on view rather than being behind the goal.

When I was in my teens, I used to get tickets in the old Kemlyn road stand. By the time I was about 14, I had outgrown the stand, I just couldn’t fit my knees in.

We always drew when I went in the old Anfield Road stand.

And the views :joy:

Anyhow glad it’s got a more main stand set up which is amazing.

I’m 1 win from 1 in the Anni, and our auto-cup scheme has us there this season, so hopefully the run continues!

The view was much better than I had expected to be honest - just a different perspective on the game, and harder to see the defensive lines/offsides - except for maybe with Darwin who seems to always be a foot or two off

With a 100% record, I think you should be telling the club of the need for you to have a guaranteed seat in Annie Rd for evey game (that includes away games as well - just to be sure)
