After we signed Isak I thought we were entering the season in ‘cheat mode’, Salah would keep banging them in, Isak would notch for fun all fed by Wirtz….

Anyhow Alonso did join Chelsea two weeks prior to the season ending. The club wasn’t sacking Slot at that point.
Right decision and thank you Arne for the title. It is however time to part ways.

Will be interesting to see what people expect of him in his first season if he does come here.
Will most be ok with a “transitional” season where we start seeing some cohesion but ultimately win nothing. Pre-Klopp I think most had that patience.
