the results are there for all to see. we went from being
one of the fittest teams in europe to one of the least fit.
I think thereās something else thatās changed regarding standards. Thereās another point thatās typical of the Dutch, aside from the directness thatās already been mentioned so often, and thatās their ārelaxedā attitude. By that, I mean that the Dutch generally donāt adhere to rules as strictly as, for example, Germans are used to. (Iām referring to Kloppās standards here.) A small example is punctuality. In Germany, weāre conditioned to be excessively punctual; if something starts at 10:00, youāre there by 9:55 at the latest. In the Netherlands, 10:05 is perfectly fine. Another example, which perhaps explains it even better, is that in Germany, as a pedestrian, you absolutely must not cross a street when the light is red. You stay put and wait, even if no car is coming, until it turns green. This is something the Dutch simply donāt understand and donāt do. They cross even when the light is red if the road is clear. Germans would never do that, especially because of the children. Dutch children are raised completely differently.
What I mean is⦠Yes, I believe something has changed. It may have initially seemed like only minor things, handled a bit more loosely now than before. But in the long run, that can make a difference.
Gonna coin a phrase here that popped into my head thinking about the anticipated 90+ mins against Chelseaā¦
āSLOTHBALLā
Hey if the guy could inject some belief and energy into his team talks, training methods and press interviews⦠it would never have entered my thoughts..!
I do want to know his thought on physical conditioning thoughā¦
Mane, Henderson, Milner and Wijnaldum
All of this is on Mo?
He has a standard, an incredibly high standard that the manager and fitness team arenāt mirroring. He says something and Arne feels the need to respond? Mo Salah epitomises the levels required for success. His comments, maybe ill advised but the drop in fitness or intensity standards isnāt on him.
So none of the aforementioned core leadership.
No PL titles, either.
Clearly Cologne is more Dutch by these standardsā¦
(I get what youāre trying to say
)
And in America if youāre crossing at a pedestrian crossing when a car approaches it wonāt slow down and will expect you to take evasive action.
And thatās why Jessie Marsch failed at Leeds
Not sure I get your point ? In the 9 years Klopps leaders in the pitch obviously evolved. The aforementioned players won every trophy.
They all captained club/national sides.
TAA was playing that season, but didnāt include him as at that time he was breaking into the team and not a leader.
Who are the leaders in our team ? (That will be here next season). There a 35 year old VvD and Szoboszlai. Thatās about it.
My prediction⦠Slot gets fired, not a single Liverpool player makes any posts or comments about it except for in staged interviews.
Iām sorry but they fucking hate this guy, itās blatently obvious.
Kerkez got taken out next to the dug out and Slot just walked away. It was terrible
Very interested to see what sort of platform or mic time they give to Mo on his last game at Anfield.
Heāll definitely have some sly digs saved for his farewell speech
Can we not just sack him now and get Rob Page to coach the last two weeks.

Would break Slotās heart if even Gakpo had nothing positive to say.
Iāll say this unlike say when Rafa left I doubt anyone will be looking to leave because Slot has left.
Heās destroyed Gakpoās career. He was a perfectly decent squad player two years ago now heās persona nongrata in a lot of fans eyes.
Canāt think of a single player has gotten better under him this season. I donāt know about all the rumors of him staying, but his position seems completely untenable to the rest of us.
