There aren’t 12 million seats in Anfield, there is a thing called geography that precludes the vast majority of supporters from being there on match days. I’ve spent thousands on Liverpool FC, potentially more than most match goers. Does that entitle me to a vote? Or am I still not an actual fan? Close to a hundred trips to Anfield, let me know when I qualify to have an opinion?

Anfield only fits 60 odd thousand. Minus the away allocation.

I think Carra gets to what was so problematic about Slot’s response to Mo’s comments. There was nothing in Mo’s comments that were an inerrant hit at the boss, but in responding defensively Slot demonstrated that he at least thinks it was, and that strongly suggests these issues have been going on behind the scenes this year.

Yeah, it shows that he’s a walking corpse since some time already, and that must be blatantly clear to everyone within the club. He has probably lost the dressing room at this point, and his fate already decided by the upstairs people. His successor, if not already engaged, must be at least clearly in fsg’s scope.

For me that’s the killer ; being so shit that we’re embarrassed even to celebrate our own glorious achievement from the previous season. Having to forfeit our bragging rights that way has been the ultimate humiliation this year.
