Only way to recover from a lactate test.

No wonder, standards have dipped massively! The reward for failure is a 2 days off for Slot and the squad!

I wonder if this is in part a strategy to manage player fitness for next season assuming that many will be busy with world cup duty and so have limited down time before pre season begins in earnest?

Wow, Hughes and Edwards are really going balls in for Slot!

By risking UCL qualification???

Hahahaha…

That’ll teach them a lesson for getting beaten so easily by villa,

Suck it up losers!

So when did this “strategy” get thought of? Sacrificing an entire season, including risking CL spot, just for another season with zero guarantee of what is coming in the future?

No turned up at the gym and it was empty, and then he made that post :upside_down_face:

Oh no! Even Gakpo has liked Salah’s post criticising Slot! Slot must feel very betrayed…

In 2024, someone posted an analysis of Slot’s Feyenoord OOP style. Does it look familiar?? hahaha…

That sounds like the directors have decided that the coaching is the problem and Slot needs a reliable assistant. I’d see this as a positive except for the fact that Slot has completely pissed off the playing staff.

In fact, I am wondering if Slot’s purpose is actually just to see off the old guard.

They’ve spent more time on holiday than on the training pitch this year.

People suggesting Klopp as DoF, sorry, that’s just really strange. We already have someone within the organisation who’s proven himself as one of the best in the business in that role (Edwards).

Could Klopp do it as effectively? I have my doubts. Would a coach/manager work under Klopp as DoF? Similarly doubtful.

Then the directors are extremely blinkered…Just going by the stats and the eye-test, it is shit.

Even the nerds can see it…

Which is not surprising to see!

Yeah, it’s just desperation at this stage :frowning:

At this point, on Sunday afternoon feeling gutted that Alonso is going to Chelsea, I’d almost be more fucked off of they sacked him now than I would be if they kept him.

At least if they keep him they can say ‘No. Fuck off. We know what we are doing. He’s our man and we’re sticking with him’. It’s not what I’d do, but I’d at least respect the balls of that decision.

But to sack him now, when it’s been pretty obvious it was going to come to this for months, days after the screamingly obvious candidate to replace him has been snapped up by Chelsea, well, that’s just fucking shambolic.

It’s not just that Xabi has the coaching chops. He would get time and understanding that no other manager would get. We can’t underestimate how important that is. For the first time in years, it would feel like we’re clueless off the pitch.

Unless we have a preferred candidate already lined up.

Do u know something we dont :blush::blush:

Fingers crossed, but I don’t see any candidates that are as no-brainer as Xabi would have been.

I like Ireola, but it’s a massive step up for him. As it would be for Hoeness. Naglesman might be a candidate after the WC, but I’ve never really warmed to him.
